Rodrigo da Ponte Caun

Received a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Engineering of the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira, Brazil, in 2006, a Master's degree from the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, Brazil, in 2008, and a Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Engineering of the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira, Brazil, in 2019, all in Electrical Engineering. He holds a specialization in Teaching in Higher Education from the Philadelphia University Center (UNIFIL), Londrina, Brazil, in 2021, in Teaching with an Emphasis on Inclusive Education from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG), Arcos, Brazil, in 2023, and in Educational Technologies and Distance Education from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), Natal, Brazil, in 2024. In 2011, he joined the Coordination of Electronic Engineering at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Toledo, Brazil. He was vice-coordinator (2012-2012) and coordinator (2013-2013) of the undergraduate course in Electronic Engineering. Additionally, he was Director of Business and Community Affairs (2014-2016). In 2017, he joined the Electrical Engineering Coordination, Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Apucarana, Brazil, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His interests include: linear control, linear quadratic (LQ) problems, optimal and robust control, LMIs and engineering education.
