Cesar Bueno de Souza

Holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2005) and a PhD from Unicamp's Genetics and Molecular Biology program (2012) where he developed the project: Sugarcane biotechnology for drought stress tolerance (2012). Currently is research scientist at CTC - Centro de Tecnonologia Canavieira where works in the molecular biology area applied to sugarcane biotechnology. Worked in the company - Alellyx S.A at the molecular biology department - molecular diagnosis and gene cloning. Intern at the IAC - Instituto Agronômico de Campinas working mainly with identification of genes related to the pathogenicity of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. Citri (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
