She has a PhD in Geography from the Institute of Geosciences at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a doctoral internship at The Nature Institute (NY - USA). In 2014 she completed her master's degree at the same institution on the relationship between landscape painting and the constitution of geomorphology, research funded by FAPESP. She has a degree in Geography from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2010). She is currently a full-time professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo, São Paulo campus. She is a permanent collaborating professor in the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Applied Human and Social Sciences at Unicamp (FCA) and a member of Nomear - Phenomenology and Geography Research Group (LAGERR/FCA/Unicamp). She has experience in teaching at primary, secondary and higher education levels. Her recent research focuses on nature and the relationship between the sciences and the arts. She is also interested in the following subjects: epistemology of geography, geography and art, Goethe's morphological method, phenomenology, education, gender, environmental education and Waldorf pedagogy.
