Bianca Baccili Zanotto Vigna

Biologist and PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas. Bianca works in the area of Plant Genetics and Biotechnology applied to plant genetic improvement. Bianca is interested in plant genetic and genomic diversity, as well as the transcriptome and expression of genes under specific conditions. Since 2011, she has been working as Researcher A at Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste with molecular genetics applied to the genetic improvement of forage plants, where she has also been a member of the Internal Technical Commitee since 2023, of the Internal Biosafety Commission since 2014 and a member of the Local Intellectual Property Committee since 2015. She was coordinator of the Projects Office of Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste from 2019 to 2021. Co-advises graduate students of the Genetics and Molecular Biology programs at Unicamp, Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology at UFSCar and Animal Science at UFRGS. Cora's mother since 2021.
