Beatriz Pacheco Jordao

Bachelor in Biological Sciences (University of Sao Paulo, 1987); MsC in Biochemistry (University of Sao Paulo, 1991), PhD in Biochemistry (University of Sao Paulo, 1994). Currently at the Dpt. of Physiology at the Insituto de Biociências (University of Sao Paulo), IB-USP; director of the National Monument Ruínas do Engenho de São Jorge dos Erasmos (RESJE), member of the RESJE-USP (since 2010), Science Museum - USP (2012-2013) and Estação Ciência - USP (2010-2014) counselling board. Coordinates the main IB-USP extra-mural educational project, namely the Estação Ciência. As from 2014, co-coordinates an USP/ BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) project for infrastrucuture renewal and educational research at RESJE. Has experience in Biochemistry, Physiolgy and Education both in Physiology and in General Biology, as well as in Enzymology and Science Communication; project end public management.
