Ricardo Pires de Souza

Physical Engineer graduated from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar -2006), Master in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN - 2012) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UFRN (2015) with a focus on operational research and planning of experiments aimed at optimizing production processes in the healthcare area. Experience in production planning and demand planning for large industrial companies, such as 3M do Brasil and Suzano Papel e Celulose S/A. Worked on Lean Six Sigma projects, using statistical tools. He currently works as an adjunct professor in production engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN, teaching courses in Numerical Methods, Statistics, Operational Research I, Operational Research II, Special Topics in Operational Research and Multicriteria Decision Analysis. Project coordinator in the area of #8203;#8203;lean healthcare and coordinator of the HEII research group - HealthCare, Engineering and Industrial Innovation. Member of the Graduate Program in Production Engineering UFRN.It has been developing and coordinating research on multi-criteria decision analysis in the healthcare area.I have been working in various management positions at the university (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
