Holds a BA in Biological Sciences with emphasis on Biotechnology (2007) (FAPESP scholarship for 2 years), MSc and PhD in Microbiology with emphasis on Genetics and Molecular Biology Microorganisms (CAPES Fellow), all from the State University Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP Jaboticabal. Has experience in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, acting on the following topics: phylogenetics, mutagenesis, sequencing, cloning and gene expression, as well as analysis and protein purification by affinity chromatography and ion exchange.
