David Anibal Garrido Andrade

He holds a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (2007), a graduate degree in Biochemistry - Universidad de Concepción (2003), a Master's degree in Biotechnology in Health and Investigative Medicine from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2010) and a PhD in University of São Paulo (2015). He concluded his Post-doc in the research project that aims to study the pathways of signaling and regulation of NMDAR glutamate receptor expression and its subunits in macrophages and murine CD4 T lymphocytes. This project is being carried out in the Laboratory of Neuroimmune Interactions under the supervision of Professor Jean Pierre Schatzmann Peron, in the immunology department (ICB-USP). In the same laboratory of Neuroimmune Interactions, he worked together with the Zika Network studying the interactions of the ZIKA virus with the immune and nervous systems.
