Rafael Augusto Satrapa

I hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2003). I completed my Master's in Animal Reproduction at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007) and my Ph.D. in Reproductive Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacology of the Institute of Biosciences, São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2011). I have also pursued Postdoctoral research in the field of Reproductive Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacology of the Institute of Biosciences (2014) and in Animal Reproduction at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2017). Currently, I am a Professor of Higher Education, Class C, Adjunct 4, at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC), where I am responsible for teaching courses on "General Pharmacology", "Female Reproduction Physiopathology", "Male Reproduction Physiopathology", and "Reproductive Biotechnology." Additionally, I am a professor in the Graduate Program in Sanitation and Sustainable Animal Production in Western Amazon - PPGESPA, where I teach courses on "Graduate Seminars II", "Theoretical and Practical Aspects of In Vitro Production of Bovine Embryos", "Nutrition and Animal Reproduction", "Scientific Entrepreneurship" and "Animal Welfare in Research Use". Furthermore, I am a professor in the Graduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation - PROFNIT, where I teach the course on "Seminar". My expertise lies in the area of Animal Reproduction, focusing on topics such as in vitro embryo production, heat stress, molecular biology, superovulation, embryo transfer, artificial insemination, and reproductive physiopathology.
