Herbert Winnischofer

Herbert Winnischofer completed his doctorate in Chemistry in the area of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of São Paulo in 2004 and carried out a postdoctoral internship at the National Laboratory of Synchrotron Light. He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Paraná. He is coordinator of the Laboratory of Inorganic Nanomaterials and of the extension project Experiencing Science and Art. His research focuses on Inorganic Chemistry, Supramolecular Chemistry and Nanotechnology. The main focuses of study are amphiphilic complexes, nanoparticles, thin films, spectroscopic characterization of thin films, electrochemistry, biological activity and electron transfer reactions.
