Gabriel Almeida Antunes Rossini

Professor in the Bachelor's programs in Economic Sciences and in Science and Humanities at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). Permanent faculty member of the Graduate Programs in Economics (PPG-E) and in World Political Economy (PPG-EPM) at UFABC. He holds a Ph.D. (2015) and a Masters degree (2009) from the Institute of Economics at the State University of Campinas (IE/UNICAMP). Since 2021, he has served as the coordinator of the Bachelor's in Economic Sciences (BCE-UFABC). From 2017 to 2021, he was a member of the coordination board of the BCE. He is a member of the Curriculum Structuring Committees (NDEs) of both the BCE and the Bachelor's in Science and Humanities (BCH). He served on the Faculty Hiring Committee for Higher Education positions at UFABC. Between 2019 and 2021, he was part of the Editorial Board of UFABC Press (EdUFABC) and coordinated the Center for Strategic Studies on Democracy, Development, and Sustainability (NEEDDS-UFABC). At different times, he served as a full and alternate member of UFABCs Teaching and Research Council. He is currently an alternate member of the University Council at UFABC. He is the leader of the Research Group on Political Economy and Economic History (GPEPHE CNPq), based at UFABC. He was a professor at PUC-SP from 2008 to 2016 and at Mackenzie University from 2008 to 2012. His research focuses on Economic Development and Political Economy. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
