Camila Ramos dos Santos

Graduated in Biological Sciences from Unicamp (2004), PhD in Functional and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on Biochemistry, from Unicamp (2009), with a post-doctorate in Protein Crystallography from CNPEM-LNBio (2010). He has experience in cloning, expression and purification of proteins, functional and biophysical studies, structure determination by X-ray crystallography and single-particle electron cryomicroscopy. Since 2009, he has been studying the mechanics of enzymes active on carbohydrates, seeking to uncover the molecular bases for their mode of action.
