He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1981), a master's degree in Plasma Physics from the University of São Paulo (1985) and a PhD in Semiconductor Physics - Johannes Kepler Universitaet-Linz, Austria (1997). He was a technologist at the National Institute for Space Research from 1985 to 2018. His main duties at this institution were: Technologist responsible for the implementation of the Chemical Contamination Analysis Laboratory of the Laboratory of Integration and Testing LIT / INPE (1985-1991); Technologist of the Associated Laboratory of Materials and Sensors LAS / INPE (1991-2003); Substitute Head of LAS / INPE (2002-2003); Technical Assistant to the Director of INPE (2003-2006); Technical Advisor to the Director of INPE (2006-2016). During his career at INPE he participated in training in pressure sensor calibration at Leybold-Heraeus, Cologne, Germany (1987); and the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS, Japan, 1989), in the follow-up to the final phase of integration of the MUSES-A satellite and the MUSES-A Lunar Orbiter micro-satellite. He was a member of the Advisory Board of the First and Second "Ibero-American Workshops on Nanostructures for Application in Micro and Optoelectronics", under the CYTED program (2000 in Mexico City and 2001 in São José dos Campos). He was guest editor of the proceedings of the "Second Ibero-American Workshop on Nanostructures for Application in Micro and Optoelectronics". He was a lecturer in the LAS / INPE postgraduate course from 2001 to 2003. He participated in the Summer Space Program - SSP07 at International Space University in Beijing, China (2007) and the MBA-FGV in Strategic Management of S T in Public Institutions of Research, in São José dos Campos (2008-2010). He was Academic Vice-Coordinator of the Space Studies Program - SSP10 at International Space University in Strasbourg, France (2010) and Academic Coordinator at the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program at International Space University in Adelaide, Australia (2011 and 2012). He was a member of the Organizing Committee and Lecturer of the 2018 Winter Course in Introduction to Space Technologies, held at INPE, São José dos Campos (2018). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
