Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) in 2000, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 2004, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2016. Postgraduate diploma in Molecular Biology from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) in 2024. My work has involved management and development within the Laboratory for Simulation and Reconstruction of Medical Images at the Inverse Problems Group, IMECC/Unicamp, as well as the Laboratory for Dynamic Simulations, Control, and Automation at UNIR/DEE. My current research interests lie in the field of Biomedical Engineering, including dynamic simulations, power electronics, applied lighting systems and LEDs, modeling and simulations of the applied immune system. I collaborate on projects such as the Study of the sensitivity threshold for identifying Plamodium sp. in the Porto Velho region at the Center for Research in Tropical Medicine (CEPEM), and the Analysis of the Morphometric Characteristics of Basal Cell Carcinoma in Correlation with other Tissue Alterations at the Interdepartmental Center for Experimental Biology and Biotechnology (CIBEBI) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elieth Afonso de Mesquita. My expertise encompasses Imaging Equipment, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering, Electromagnetic Simulations, Evolutionary Algorithms applied to Electrical Engineering problems, Digital Signal and Video Processing, Intelligent Systems, Artificial Intelligence. I am primarily focused on topics such as Biomedical Engineering, Lighting Systems, Applied Electromagnetism, High-Performance Computational Electrodynamics, Numerical Simulation, Medical Image Reconstruction, Anatomofunctional Diagnostic Principles, PET-CT, Nuclear Medicine Equipment, Biomedical and Physiological Simulations.
