Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Física Gleb Wataghin (IFGW)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I am a physicist. My bachelor (2005), master (2008) and D.Sc. (2012) degrees were obtained at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Brazil). I've been at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg (Germany, 2010) during my doctoral studies and at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (Germany, 2012-2015), Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2015-2018) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2018-2019) as a post-doctoral researcher. Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil). I am interested on the investigation of the interaction between ionizing radiation and matter, including: characterization and fabrication of nano-structured materials with ion beams; creation of color centers and metallic colloids in ionic crystals; mass spectrometry by high-energy primary ions; resistance of ceramic matrices for nuclear waste immobilization; neutron dosimetry for fission track dating and cancer therapy via nuclear reactions; and quantification of ambient radiation levels in passive detectors via alpha dosimetry.
