She is currently associated professor of the Department of Physiological Sciences of the Biological Sciences Center of Londrina State University (UEL-PR), coordinator of Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (CEUA-UEL), Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Physiological Sciences. She works in Physiology area, with emphasis on Endocrine Physiology, investigating the pathophysiological mechanisms that modulate insulin secretion and glycemic control in experimental models of rats and zebrafish.
