Associate Professor of Political Economy of Communication and Culture at the State University of Londrina. PhD in History and Society from Unesp (Assis) - with a scholarship from Fapesp. I have a degree in Communication, with a specialization in Journalism from the University of Brasília (2001) and a master's degree in Communication and Contemporary Culture (in the Image and Sound Studies line) from the same institution (2004). In 2010, I completed a post-doctorate in Social History of Labor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I coordinate the CUBO-Political Economy of Communication and Crisis of Capitalism Laboratory, at the State University of Londrina. I was scientific director (2018-2020) and president (2020-2022) of the Latin Union of the Political Economy of Information, Communication and Culture-Brazil (Ulepicc-BR). I am a member of the editorial board of Revista Eptic. I coordinated the Political Economy of Information, Communication and Culture Research Group at Intercom. Currently, I coordinate GT6 Theory and Epistemology of the Political Economy of Communication at Ulepicc-Brasil. I had researched mainly on the following topics: political economy of information, communication and culture; communication and capital crisis; cultural industry and Brazilian experience; dialectics and communicational thinking.
