Marcia Mascarenhas de Rezende Camargos

Writer, journalist and PhD in Social History from the University of Sao Paulo - with a CNPq scholarship grant, completed postdoctoral studies at the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros (Brazilian Studies Institute)/ USP, with a FAPESP scholarship grant, about the Brazilian scholarship students exchange in Europe by the Pensionato Artístico do Estado de São Paulo (1912-1930). Responsible for the implementation of the Documentation and Memory Center in the Painting Gallery from the State of São Paulo in 2005, is also technical assistant of the historical heritage of the municipality of Sao Paulo.Partner of the Usina de Conteúdos Cultural Producer Ltd., cultural producer specialized in Brazilian themes founded in 1985, Is the author of some São Paulo cultural history books, including 'Modernismo e Semana de 22',and others for children and teenagers .Also two novels, 'Micróbios na cruz (Companhia das Letras, 2005) and 'A travessia do Albatroz' (Nova Fronteira, 2007).Monteiro Lobato's biographer, published books and articles about him, is also curator and presenter of the complete works of the writer re-launched by Editora Globo.
