Coordinator of PODICAN Center for Development and Innovation in Cannabis. Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Professor in the PostGraduate Program in Conventional and Integrative Veterinary Medicine (PPGMVCI/UFSC). Lecturer in Endocannabinoidology, Veterinary Genetics, Animal Breeding, and Veterinary Immunology. Researches the Endocannabinoid System, Cannabinoid Veterinary Medicine, and the industrial use of Cannabis. Holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE, 2012), a Master's degree in Animal Science and Pastures from the University of São Paulo (USP-ESALQ, 2007), and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 2004).
