Leda Lorenzo Montero

Bachelor's degree in Biology - Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2001) and PhD in the Graduate Program in Ecology at the Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo (2008). Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo, where she serves as Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Coordinator of the Agroecology and Food Consciousness Extension Program. She has experience in the field of Ecology, with an emphasis on Applied Plant Ecology and ecological processes in the plant-soil system.Interested in ecological processes related to nutrient cycling in the plant-soil system and the effects of human management on these processes, she works in the areas of Agroecology and Restoration of Degraded Areas.
