He is an effective professor at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) - São João da Boa Vista, where he carries out teaching, research, extension and management activities. He currently serves as the IFSP-SBV Extension Coordinator. He is Coordinator of the Lato sensu Postgraduate Course "" Specialization in Humanities (since 2023). He is an accredited teacher in the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education at IFSULDEMINAS, Poços de Caldas campus. Doctor and Master in Geography by the Program Graduate Program in Geography (Area of #8203;#8203;Concentration in Space Organization) from UNESP-Rio Claro, with a specialization in Educational Management from the Centro Universitário Claretiano and in Computing Applied to Basic Education from the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ / NEAD). Graduated in Geography (Licentiate and Bachelor's Degree) from UNESP-Rio Claro, Pedagogy (Full Degree) from Faculdade UNAR/Araras and History (Bachelor's Degree) from Centro Universitário Claretiano. He was Assistant Professor of the Geography Course at UNESP , Campus de Ourinhos, between 2011 and 2015. He worked for 7 years in the state public teaching, in addition to teaching at universities and private schools. He has experience and works in the area of #8203;#8203;Human Geography, Education and Territorial Planning. Coordinates and participates in regular FAPESP research projects. He is a reviewer of national and international indexed scientific journals and is a member of the editorial and scientific council of the magazines Geografares, GeoUEL and Caderno Prudentino de Geografia. He is a member of the research groups CNPq GETERR, DITER, "Structures of Governance and Development" and "Humanities", being leader of the latter. He is the author of the books "Territorial Governance: Concept, facts and modalities" (co-authored, Edições Sebrae, 2011), and "Territory and Competitiveness: relationships, theories and applications" (Editora Paco, 2015), in addition to articles in magazines Qualis A and Qualis B, articles in national and international congresses and scientific events and book chapters.
