Thais Thome Feldens

Associate Professor Level III at the School of Dentistry of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, specializing in Restorative Dentistry and Dental Anatomy. Holds a degree in Dentistry from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002), a Masters Degree in Dentistry (Restorative Dentistry) from the University of São Paulo (2005), a PhD in Dentistry (Restorative Dentistry) from the University of São Paulo (2009), and a specialization in Restorative Dentistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2011). In 2007, she was a CAPES Doctoral Internship Program fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, where she conducted research on virulence factors related to high caries risk patients. Thaís has experience in the field of Dentistry, with an emphasis on Restorative Dentistry, working mainly on the following topics: tooth whitening, direct restorative materials, and dental anatomy. She is active on social media through the project Professora Dentista, where she promotes dental education via videos on the YouTube channel ProfessoraDentistaTV and shares tips for undergraduate dental students on the Instagram profile @professoradentista.
