Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Artes (IA) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Post-graduate (Doctorate in 2014 and Master's degree in 2009) in art theory by Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) and art graduate by the same institution, between 2002 and 2007. Both doctorate and master's degree research projects were funded by Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), between 2007 and 2014. The research centers itself in Brazilian artistic lithography, most specifically in the work of two of its most representative printmakers, Darel Valença Lins and Lotus Lobo. The subject itself is the relationship between their artistic works and illustration, and specially the conceptual implications of the image appropriation processes present in their works. In a parallel line of activity I work as a freelance illustrator and drawing/illustrator teacher since 2008. Worked as school coordinator at Pandora Escola de Artes from 2014 to 2016, and now I'm an art teacher (PEB 2) under the secretaria municipal de educação de Louveira - SP, since 2016.
