Alvaro Manoel de Souza Soares

Has Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (1983), Master in Engineering and Space Technology by the National Institute for Space Research (1986) and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Technological Institute of Aeronautics (1997). He is currently an assistant professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and assistant professor at the University of Taubaté. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Mechatronics, acting on the following topics: Image Processing, Robotics, Modeling and Parameter Identification, Automation and Control.
