Danielle Ribeiro de Castro

Photographer and writer, she has been a university professor since 2023 (Fameesp) and a freelance writer for outlets such as Folha de S.Paulo, UOL, Valor, G1 and Globo Rural - active as a reporter since 2006. Master in History, International Relations and Cooperation from the University of Porto with a specialization in International Relations (2021). She develops studies in the field of Image rhetoric, comparative communication, cultural semiotics and historical representation in international relations between Brazil and Portugal (Second Reign - Pedro II). Her research line focuses on visual journalism, 19th century photography, photojournalism and analytical history. She is also a journalist graduated from Unesp (2006) and specialized in Art History from FAAP (2010) and in Scientific Disclosure from FMRP-USP (2010). She was a scientific initiation scholarship holder from FAPESP (2005-2006). For three years, she developed the study "Memória do Ensino", a research work carried out with a technical grant from CNPq through the CERN project of the Ribeirão Preto Blood Center (2012 - 2015). She worked on the educational project team at Casa da Ciência (Ribeirão Preto Blood Center/USP-RP), with scientific education and scientific dissemination (2012 - 2015). Organizer of the "Livro da Casa da Ciência" (2015), a publication with 2 volumes, 460 pages, divided into 39 fascicles that tell the story of the educational project. She was a national digital marketing trainer at Latina Academy, (2020) of the Remax Latina Group in Portugal. CEO responsible for the communications bureau Brasilroots Editoração e Imagem (2010 - 2018) and content marketing mentoring Sabe Bem Digital (2020 - 2021).
