PhD in Astrophysics from the Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas da Universidade de São Paulo (IAG/USP), with a year of internship at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Santiago, Chile. Currently independent researcher at the Instituto de Alta Investigación, Universidad de Tarapacá (IAI/UTA) in Chile, after two years of postdoctoral research and teaching at Universidad Andres Bello (UNAB, Chile), and one year of postdoctoral research at Durham University (England) within the LACEGAL/Marie Curie network. Project leader VISCACHA, member of VVVX, SDSS-V surveys. Responsible for the FORS2 instrument in the VLT, ESO from 2015 to 2018. Experience in stellar astrophysics in the context of galaxy formation and evolution, working mainly on the following topics: globular clusters, stellar populations, Milky Way bulge and halo, multiple populations in globular clusters and Magellanic Clouds. Experience with astronomical instrumentation, telescopes, operations, administration, teamwork uniting astronomers and engineers. Member of the Brazilian Astronomical Society (SAB), the Chilean Astronomy Society (SOCHIAS) and the International Astronomical Union (IAU).
