Undergraduate in Biological Sciences at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Masters in Animal Science (UNESP) and PhD in Immunology at Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). She worked as postdoctoral fellow and Research associate (2015-2018) at the University of Miami / Miller School of Medicine (Miami, USA) with studies related to the development of a recombinant vaccine using rVSV-ZIKV against Zika virus and the role of STING/cGAS pathway in oncolytic therapy using HSV virus and fractionated radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Currently, working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology (ICB / UFMG), focus on the study of the immunological protection induced by BCG in cancer immunotherapy. She has experience in the field of Immunology, with an emphasis on Innate Immunity and Tumor Immunology. In addition to her experience with different laboratory techniques, cell culture, studies with viruses and bacteria, vaccines and experiments with animal models, she worked as a substitute professor in Biochemistry at UFMG and scientific disseminator.
