Bruno Jose Dumet Fernandes

Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA (2001). Ph.D. in Toxicology from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo - USP (2008). Associate Professor I at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFBA, in the area of Toxicology. Experience in pharmacokinetics, therapeutic control, pharmacogenetics, and drug and medication metabolism. Works primarily in the assessment of toxic risk exposure, providing consultancy and issuing opinions in the fields of Occupational Toxicology and Environmental Toxicology. Also involved in the use of pharmacokinetic software for therapeutic control and dosage adjustment and therapeutic safety. Teaching postgraduate courses on Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacotherapy in ICU and Emergency, and Occupational and Environmental Toxicology. I have worked as a researcher in the following research groups: "LAPIM" (Immunology Research Laboratory) at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFBA, from 2012 to 2016, and "Health Property Assessment" at the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFBA, from 2014 to 2020, and I continue to work as a researcher in the research group: "Clinical Pharmacokinetics" at the University of São Paulo - USP, from 2020 to 2021. I was appointed to serve as a tutor for the Academic League of Pharmacy in Oncology (LAFON) since 2015. Appointed since October 2020 to participate as a representative of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus (NDAE) for the construction and monitoring of the Pedagogical Project of the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Maternal and Child Health (RMSMI) of the Climério de Oliveira Maternity Hospital within the scope of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA).
