Bachelor of Nursing from the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto/USP (EERP/USP) (2000-2004), Master of Public Health Nursing from EERP/USP (2005-2007) and Doctor of Science from EERP/USP (2007-2011 ). FAPESP scholarship holder for master's degree (process n.05/52694-0) and doctorate (process n.2007/05051-1). Sandwich PhD at the University of British Columbia School of Nursing (2008-2009), with funding from CNPq (process n.200113/2008-9), and supervised by co-supervisor Dr. Fay Warnock. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the Federal University of Goiás (FEN/UFG), working at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Has professional experience in Neonatal Nursing. Research theme focusing on neonatal pain management, breastfeeding and kangaroo care, knowledge translation and implementation science. Has experience in experimental methods, systematic review, implementation studies. Worked with measuring physiological variables (heart rate and salivary cortisol) and behavioral microanalytical coding. He was a trainee (2006-2011) at Pain in Child Health (PICH), a strategic training program in pediatric pain funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research. Participates in the Nursing Research Group for Child and Adolescent Care (GPECCA) at EERP/USP, and in the Study Group on Women's, Children's and Adolescent's Health (GESMAC) at FEN/UFG.
