The project is to characterize the entanglement among two Brownian particles in a bath of oscillators compared to that which occurs with electrons in Cooper pairs in superconductors. By characterizing we mean the search for necessary conditions for occurrence and quantification.
We propose a study of the interaction between atoms and radiation fields, applied to experiments of laser cooling and trapping of alkaline-earth atoms.
