Veterinarian with specialization in Health and Animal Production by the Federal Rural University of Amazonia. Master and PhD in Clinical Medicine with postdoctoral degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and Animal Health by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the University of São Paulo - USP. He works as Associate Professor at the Federal University of Western Pará - UFOPA. He was assistant coordinator of the postgraduate program Biosciences/UFOPA, president of the Committee on Ethics in the Use of Animals CEUA/UFOPA, Director of Research of UFOPA, and Adjunct Coordinator of the Biotechnology undergraduate course. Currently is Coordinator of the Doctorate in Society, Nature and Development (PPGSND) and Coordinator of the Animal Health Laboratory (LARSANA). Has more than 120 articles published in scientific journals and is supervisor of master's and doctoral students. Has experience in Animal Health, working mainly in Metabolic Diseases of Ruminants, Ecotoxicology, Epidemiology of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and Acarology. He was an investigator responsible for dozens of clinical studies (efficacy, pharmacokinetics and safety) of drugs for reporting to MAPA.
