Graduated in Social Sciences, holds a master's and doctorate in Social Anthropology from the University of Campinas and completed a postdoctoral degree at the Center for Sociological Research on Law and Penal Institutions (CESDIP, France). He has experience in the areas of Public Policy Evaluation, International Migration, International Cooperation and Rights of Traditional Peoples and Communities. He has worked on various international cooperation projects and on the implementation of public policies for quilombola communities in Brazil (2008-2011 and 2014-2017). He currently works at the General Coordination of Evaluation and Organization of Evidence (CGEV) of the National School of Public Administration (Enap), where he leads the Research Center on Evaluation and Use of Evidence (NAVE), both linked to the Directorate of Advanced Studies.
