Maria Teresa de Sibio

Biologist with a degree in Biological Sciences from Faculdade Integradas Regionales de Avaré (2006). During her undergraduate studies, she completed an internship, technical training and scientific initiation at the Experimental Laboratory FMB / UNESP Botucatu. Master's (2010) and Doctorate (2014) in Pathophysiology in Clinical Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP Botucatu - Concentration Area - Health Sciences. Post-Doctorate CNPq - Process: 158488/2015 -6 (Effective 12/2015 to 05/2017). I worked (06/2017 to 07/2018) as Technical Support on the Confocal Microscope and Flow Cytometer equipment with funding from Notice 07/2017 PROPe: Emergency Support for Unesp multi-user equipment (Large Project) at UNIPEX/UNESP Botucatu. Capes Post-Doctorate - Process: 88887.510018/2020-00 (Emergency: 01/08/2020 to 31/07/2022) - CAPES-EPIDEMIAS Program (Emergency Strategic Program for Preventing and Combating Outbreaks, Endemics, Epidemics and Pandemics) linked the Faculty of Medicine of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP Botucatu. She works as a researcher at the Laboratory of Genetic Bases of Endocrinological Diseases - UNIPEX/FMB, with a main focus on the area of Molecular and Cellular Biology in breast cancer, obesity, hormonal action pathways, primary stem cell culture, monolayer culture, three-dimensional culture (3D) and Sars-CoV-2.
