Graduate in Medicine,Universidade de São Paulo (1967) and ph.d. in Surgery from Universidade de São Paulo (1973). Full Professor of surgery and chief od Division of Plastic Surgery ,Faculty of Medicine ,University of São Paulo,at Hospita das Clinicas up to 2013.He was chiefof the research lab on plastic surgery and microsurgery at the same institution.He has clinical experience in Medicine,area of plastic surgery acting on the following subjects: microsurgery,treatment of complex wounds ad burns,facial palsy,peripheral nerve surgery and aesthetic surgery and academic research is done in the same areas.Coordinator of the Nucleus of Complex Wounds of SirioLibanês Hospital in São Paulo.455 papers published in medical journals in Brazil and abroad with .2542 citations (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
