Entrepreneur in the area of #8203;#8203;research and development (RD) of new therapeutic products, with a corporate vision and a network of over 10 years with the global industry. He has a stricto sensu postgraduate degree (doctorate) in Pharmacology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), with a sandwich doctorate internship at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago-USA). He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, with an innovative theme involving the production of a recombinant protein with antimicrobial action. He worked as director of a Research Center (Hospital e Maternidade Dr. Christovão da Gama), where he remained for over 4 years, until it was acquired by Leforte Hospital Network, culminating in the spin-off of the Science Valley Research Institute (co-founder). He participated in the clinical development of many drugs, with several successful private projects and public-private partnerships. Since March 2018, he has been CEO of Science Valley Research Institute, a company that has managed more than 350 clinical trials, recruited more than 3,000 patients in clinical trials, using its own management system and a dedicated team to prepare regulatory dossiers for registration in the regulatory agencies (Anvisa, CEP/CONEP). He worked actively during major epidemics (Zika, Chikungunya, Covid19), publishing scientific articles in highly prestigious journals such as JAMA, Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine, implementing new treatment guidelines and launching new drugs on the market for large companies such as GSK, VIR Biotechnology, Merck and Bayer, in addition to RD partnerships with large national industries, such as Aché, Eurofarma, Cristália, EMS, Libbs and Blau. He currently has 3 patents under development, 1 already licensed and marketed to a Brazilian pharmaceutical industry, for which Science Valley Research Institute has a signed contract and will be responsible for the clinical development program for the drug's registration. In 2020, along with his business partner, also a prestigious scientist (Dr. Eduardo Ramacciotti), they have found Science Biotech, a start-up company dedicated to foster the clinical development of new drugs and promote innovation in the healthcare sector.
