Cássio Florêncio Rubio

He has a PhD and Master's degree in Linguistic Studies from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP - São José do Rio Preto-SP). He has a degree in Literature, with qualifications in Portuguese and French, from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP São José do Rio Preto-SP) and graduated in Data Processing Technology from the Centro Universitário de Rio Preto (UNIRP- São José do Rio Preto-SP ). He was a permanent professor of the Master's Degree in Sociobiodiversity and Sustainable Technologies at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia and the Professional Master's Degree in Literature at the State University of Ceará. He was Pro-Rector of Institutional Relations at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia. He worked as an effective professor at the Portuguese Language Higher Education Department at the Institute of Languages #8203;#8203;and Literatures and as a professor at the Master's Degree in Language Studies at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (UNILAB), in Redenção, Ceará. He is Associate Professor III linked to the Department of Psychology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), working, as an undergraduate, in subjects in the language, language and culture axis of the Libras/Portuguese Language Translation and Interpretation course (TILSP), and in postgraduate studies, in the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics. The research focuses on the areas of linguistic description and analysis, sociolinguistics and dialectology and teaching Portuguese as a mother tongue and as an additional language.
