Graduated at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1981) and PhD. from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1994). Holds a pos-graduated from University of Bristol (UK) (2000-2001) and carried out a research program at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (UK) (2008). He is an adjunct professor (retired) at the Universidade Estadual Paulista - campus of Ilha Solteira, currently a volunteer professor. He participated in the implementation of the Graduate Program in Materials Sciences of the Department of Physics and Chemistry, where he has been accredited professor since the beginning of the program. He has experience mainly in Theoretical Chemistry, working mainly in the following subjects: Monte Carlo Method and Molecular Dynamics, Effects of Solvent in Liquid Phase, Proteins and Hydrogen Bridges and ab initio calculations in semiconductor oxides. He has carried out sporadic works in neutron scattering with EPSR method to determine the structure of pure liquids and mixtures, electrochemistry and conductive polymers in collaboration with other researchers. It makes occasional incursions within the Philosophy of Science. He holds a bachelor's degree in law with an interest in philosophy of law, human rights and environmental law.Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on Theorical Chemistry, acting on the following subjects: monte carlo method, termoenzimas, solvent effects, citrato sintase and amidas.
