Cyntia Silva de Oliveira

Doctorate in Molecular Biology from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp, 2024), Master of Science in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the same institution (Unifesp, 2020), and Bachelor and Licentiate in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual de São Paulo (Unesp, 2006). She has extensive experience in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with notable work in areas such as solid-phase peptide synthesis, purification and characterization of peptides, structure-activity relationship studies of peptides in bacterial and tumor models, cell viability assays, and investigation of anticancer activities. Currently, she is engaged in advanced research involving synthetic viral peptides and recombinant proteins, focusing on antitumor activity against HPV+ cervical cancer and the application of these compounds in the development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines against HPV and associated neoplasms. Her current research is part of her Postdoctoral fellowship at the Instituto Butantan, under the supervision of Profa. Dra. Aurora Marques Cianciarullo, and funding is provided by the PDJ-CNPq grant.
