Graduated in Informatics from the University of São Paulo (2002), Master's degree in Computer Science from ICMC São Carlos at the University of São Paulo (2004) and PhD in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2008). He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Coordinator and Founder of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (LIA) in 2009. He was a postgraduate coordinator in Computer Science between 2013 and 2016. Since 2001, his main research interest is Machine Learning. His experience includes research in clustering, supervised learning, semi-supervised, ROC analysis, probability calibration and deep learning. The main research topics are ranking, sentiment analysis, ROC analysis in Machine Learning, Deep Learning applied to remote sensing, agriculture and text analysis. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
