Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at State University of Ceará (2002), Master in Pharmacology from the Federal University of Ceará (2005), Ph.D. in Human Physiology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2009) and post-doctorate in the field of Physiology at Yale University (2009) and at the State University of Ceará (2009-2011). Studies in Physiology, with emphasis on Renal Physiology, working mainly on the study of renal effects of hormones that regulate the homeostasis of salt, water and acid-base balance and that modulate renal potassium and hydrogen secretions.
