Ana Paula Marques Ramos

Bachelor (2008) in Cartographic Engineering from the School of Science and Technology of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquista Filho" (Unesp). Master (2011) and Ph.D. (2015) in Cartographic Sciences from the Cartographic Sciences Program at FCT/Unesp. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cartography at Unesp and a member of the Cartographic Sciences Program (grade 6). She works in the Geosciences area, emphasing on Cartography and Remote Sensing of vegetation. In recent years (2020-current), she has explored machine learning techniques (shallow and deep) for remote sensing data, targeting environmental applications.
