Graduation in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (2006). Specialist in Internal Medicine (2009) and Pulmonology (2011) at the University of São Paulo. Ph.D. in Interstitial Lung Diseases, Pulmonology Division, Instituto do Coração (Incor) / Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo. My Ph.D. project aimed to evaluate small airway involvement in chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis patients, and its impact on physical exercise. Awarded in 2015 by the European Respiratory Society (ERS) with the Short-Term Research Fellowship, developing the Ph.D. project in partnership with the Bioengineering Laboratory of the Instituto Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), Milan, Italy. Clinical Fellow in Thoracic Ultrasound at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark (March - 2019 to June - 2019). Clinical fellowship in lung transplantation at the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada (2019/2020). Fellowship in pulmonary rehabilitation at the West Park Healthcare Center, University of Toronto, Canada (2020/2021). Areas of interest: interstitial lung diseases, chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, quantitative tomographic analysis, forced oscillometry technique, functional stress assessment (cardiopulmonary test), chest ultrasound, lung transplantation, pulmonary rehabilitation.
