PhD in Chemical Engineering from Université Pierre et Marie Currie (France), with emphasis on Improved Oil Recovery. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry (2006) and in Technological Chemistry (2009) from UNICAMP, where he also obtained a master's degree in Inorganic Chemistry for his work with polymer nanocomposites. He is currently a researcher in Reservoir Engineering at CENPES (Petrobras), where he has been working since 2010 not only in internal research projects, but also as technical interlocutor in several projects with national and international universities, and partner companies. Additionally, he occasionally teaches IOR courses at Petrobras University, as well as acts as guest lecturer in of universities with focus in petroleum engineering. He has experience in inorganic synthesis, physical chemistry, nanotechnology, formulation, thermomechanical processing of polymers, and application of polymers and surfactants in EOR / IOR methods, foams, and low salinity injection.
