Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the Institute of Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007), master's (2010) and doctorate (2015) in Sciences (Human Physiology) from the University of São Paulo and internship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH, Bethesda, USA). She held a post-doctorate at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2015-2019) and at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (Montpellier, France - 2017-2018). She is the leader of the Circadian Endocrine Physiology (FEnCi) research group and a collaborator at the State University of Midwest Paraná, the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the National Institutes of Health (NIH, Bethesda, USA), the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (IGF, Montpellier, France). She has experience in the field of Physiology, with an emphasis on Endocrine Physiology and, Chronobiology and Toxicology, working mainly on the following topics: thyroid hormones, clock genes, circadian rhythmicity of metabolism and hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism and, endocrine disruptors. Advises in the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences: in Physiology and Pharmacology (PPG-FISFAR) at UFMG (CAPES grade 7). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
