Camila Villard Duran is an Associate Professor of Law at ESSCA School of Management in France. She was an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (FDUSP) from 2013 to 2022. She holds a habilitation in International Economics from the Institute of International Relations (IRI) at USP. She was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Nantes and an affiliated researcher at the Global Economic Governance Programme (GEG) at the University of Oxford. She was a fellow of the Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Fellowship Program. She holds a PhD with a dual degree from FDUSP and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She was a researcher at ISJPS/CNRS at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a visiting lecturer at the Law School of Sciences Po Paris, Université de Lyon 2 and Queen Mary University of London. She was a research member of the international group SELA (Seminario en Latinoamérica de Teoría Constitucional y Política) at Yale Law School. She was also a tutor for the PET Sociology of Law group.Areas of interest: financial market and monetary regulation, crypto-asset regulation, international economic law and policy, judicial review of public policies, and methodology of legal teaching and research.
