Joao Veridiano Franco Neto

Master in Social Anthropology at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP - Campinas/SP). Bachelor of Social Sciences with specialization in Social Anthropology at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar - São Carlos/SP). Develops research in Ethnology in the Xingu Indigenous Park, especially among Kalapalo people, Upper Xingu, Mato Grosso, Brazil. With interest in the following topics: ritual, witchcraft and shamanism, cosmology, mythology, indigenous movement, public policy, indigenous health and indigenous education.
