Paulo Ricardo e Serpa

Graduated in the Superior Course of Audiovisual at the School of Communication and Arts at the University of São Paulo, he has made more than 70 short films since the course until today. Between 2006 and 2008, he received a scholarship from FAPESP for a scientific initiation project that studied the relationship between football and modernity in Brazilian cinema during the silent period, under the guidance of Eduardo Morettin and Ismail Xavier. From 2010 to 2015 he worked as Production Coordinator and Post Producer at Glaz Entretenimento, having supervised the production of 5 Feature Films and 2 TV series, obtaining great public success. Since 2012 he has been a professor in the executive production course at the International Film Academy [AIC]. In 2012 he founded the production company MEUS RUSSOS, having made 6 short films, 5 music videos and 1 documentary feature film, reaching constant awards all over the world. In 2016 he participated in the first SPCine production laboratory, aiming at training young filmmakers in São Paulo's audiovisual. In 2018, he was the only non-European selected for the prestigious MAIA Workshops: developing producers, a 3-week course taught in Europe for emerging producers. Still in 2018, he was selected for the Berlinale Talents: Buenos Aires, as producer of the feature film "Flores", in development. In 2020 he received the Projeto Paradiso scholarship as the only Latin American selected for the prestigious EAVE 2021 production workshop. Since 2015 he has been working as an Executive Producer, having made more than 10 feature films and 5 series for TV and Streaming. He currently supervises the development and realization of several projects for TV, streaming and cinema, establishing partnerships with companies such as Galeria, Globo, Amazon and Netflix.
