Bachelor's at Medicina from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1980), master's at Hematology from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1986) and doctorate at Hematology from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1987). Post-Doc at the Department of Hemostasis and Thrombosis Professor M. Samama, the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Paris, France, from 1987 to 1989, with a scholarship from CNPq. She has worked in research in the area of line hemostasis and thrombosis, developing projects and guiding graduate students in the following subjects: thrombophilia, venous thrombosis, purpura and acquired coagulopathies. She is currently Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. She is Coordinator of Undergraduate Hematology UNIFESP, being responsible for organizing the course and implementing its educational content. She also serves on the orientation of graduate students, residents, and graduate students in the management of patients with the following diseases: thrombophilia, venous thrombosis, purpura and acquired coagulopathies.
