Ernesto Govea Alcaide

Bachelors degree in Physics from the Universidad de Oriente, Cuba (1998), Masters degree in Physical Sciences from the Universidad de La Habana, Cuba (2001), Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the Universidad de Oriente, Cuba (2005), and postdoctoral training at the University of São Paulo (2007). I was a professor at the Universidad de Oriente from 1998 to 2012 and a Full Professor at this university from 2009 to 2012. I also served as a Full Professor at the Universidad de Granma, Cuba, from 2012 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, I held a position as a Visiting Professor at the Federal University of Amazonas. I was a permanent member of the graduate programs in Physics at the Universidad de La Habana (2005 - 2012) and the Federal University of Amazonas (2017 - 2021). I serve as a reviewer for several scientific journals and received the National Award from the Cuban Academy of Sciences in 2005, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2021. From January to October 2023, I held an A-level Human Resources Fellowship in the Department of Physics at the Federal University of Pernambuco.
