Since 2019 Professor at the Federal University of Pará. I am on the board of the Faculty of Computing at ICEN. Permanent Professor in the Postgraduate Programs in Computer Science and Applied Computing. In 2018 I received my PhD in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo. I finished my Master's degree in 2012 in Systems Engineering and Computer Science at the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia. My master's research was in the field of Biomedical Engineering. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2009 in Systems Engineering at the Universidad del Magdalena in Santa Marta, Colombia. I am a reviewer for international journals and conferences in the area of Parallel and Distributed Computing. My main areas of expertise are: High Performance Computing, Performance Analysis and Prediction, and Task Scheduling in Parallel and Distributed Architectures. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
